Hi Gavin,

i´m trying out your wonderfu software. After working the first days just in the training mode, i wanted to place real bets today.
But every time i´m trying to place a bet via cymatic (irrespective of the amount), i just get the error message "ERROR_IN_ORDER".

Placing bets via the befair internet page is working fine.

Is there maybe any option is forgot to set?
Just downloaded cymatic, installed and activated the software.

thanks for the hint, but odds,stakte and funds are okay.
I attached a screen shot of a football bet i tried to submit (not in play). The Error is still there.

Do i need so load up an ssl-certificate to my betfair account before using cymatic?

No you don't have to load an SSL certificate to your Betfair account.

1. What type of football market was it? Match odds, total goals, etc.?

2. Can you place bets on any other sport, or is it just that football market?

3. Which country are you logging in from? (the location of your computer).

4. Does the same problem exist when you try to place the bet via the ladder?

5. Please confirm that you have got more than €2 in your account.

6. Is there any additional information in the Status Log tab in Cymatic?

Hi Gavin,

sorry for the late reply.

1/2.I tried several Sports (Football,Tennis,Greyhound) and Markets (Match Odds, Goals, Set, Win, ....). I was not able to place any bet.

3. I´m logged in from Germany. Maybe there any restriction for people using betfair in germany, regarding the law and the terms of betfair?

4. Placing bets via the ladder is also not working.

5. Yes, i have more than 2€ in my account.

6. Additional information of the error-code: failed to place bet. ERROR_IN_ODER: No retries allowedfor this type of error.

Hi Gavin,

yes i can place back bets accesing betfair.com from germany.
Placing a lay bet isn´t possible.

May this be the main reason for the software not to work?

Hi Hups,

I just found some news reports indicating that Betfair withdrew their betting exchange product from Germany. For example here:

betfair-withdraw-from-germany-exchange-model-not-viable-under-new-tax-laws

I didn't know that was the case. In some cases customers in banned countries can circumnavigate the problem by having a VPN or VPS with an IP address in a different country. I am not sure whether that would suffice in the German case, or whether you'd also need a different residential address and payment method registered to an address abroad.
