Cymatic Trader Community

Hi Guys,

Im trying to take BSP prices just before the off for certain horses and trading them in play x number of ticks. When I click on the back field and choose to take BSP, Cymatic still takes the best odds on offer as soon as I place my trade into the market. How to I get it to only take BSP when the market goes in play. Im new to Cymatic, so just trying to get used to it.

Please see this article that I wrote which explains the difference between true SP bets (only ever matched a the SP price) versus exchange bets which can 'take SP' if not already matched:

As explained more fully in the article, if you want pure SP bets (i.e. ones that are only matched at the SP price) then you need to use the website to issue those bets. Cymatic does not offer pure SP bets, it only offers exchange bets (which can be matched pre-play or at the SP). Then you could trade the second part of your strategy using the software (to trade out of your positions in-play).
