Hi honestmicky28,

OK that sounds good. I hope you enjoy trying Cymatic again.

Perhaps the browser issue will get resolved automatically in due course once your new PC does a few more updates, but if not then it might recur when the trial expires and the software tries to open the subscription options page for you in a browser window. If that happens, then please don't hesitate to let me know and I'm sure we can sort something out if and when you need further help.

In the meantime, happy trading and kind regards,

Gavin

Hi Davlean,

Thanks for contacting me. I have moved your message to this existing topic which seems to discuss the same issue.

The outcome of the above discussion is essentially that the solution is to use the 'Minimal Login' option instead of the 'Standard Login' option in the Cymatic software.

To explain, the standard login option opens a browser window for the login, so require a recent version of Internet Explorer to be installed on your computer, hence it causes a problem if you either have removed IE or have not applied recent updates (perhaps including Flash functionality?). So the minimal login option bypasses those complexities because it doesn't even using a browser window to login.

Kind regards,

Gavin

Hi JonnyNoShuffle,

Please confirm the following:

1. Is your Betfair account funded? It won't work if your account balance is zero.
2. Is there any information or error message shown either across the bottom of the main window, or in the Status Log tab, after you try to login?
3. After logging in, does it say "Your username has logged in" at the bottom of the main window.
4. Are you using the software in the UK?
5. Have you tried the 'Minimal Login' option.
6. Have you tried switching from Streaming to Polling? This is found in the File Menu | Settings | API Refresh tab
7. Are you using any special Betfair login settings in your account (such as the optional 2-Step Authentication, or a Danish Nem-ID)?

Kind regards,

Gavin

Hi Gavin,
I have 2 questions:
- In my country is Betfair blocked, I can use Cymatic Trader Software?
- Using a VPN service solved the problem?

Hi vanusekal,

Sorry I am not sure about that. Does the Betfair website work in Columbia? If not, then I would expect that the Cymatic software might not work there either.

Regarding using a VPS, that might work. However it might also depend on whether Betfair accepts accounts being registered with a street address / payment card address in your country.

Kind regards,

Gavin
