Steve_Cymatic Import ABC.With Odds_v2.0.xlsm

This version removes the non-runners and apostrophes from horses' names (Racing Post seems to be using a different character for their apostrophes on the new web page).

Steve,

Something seems amiss this morning, as yesterday's runners are being gathered (with a resultant empty column of prices).

Hi Rob.

It seems to be a problem with the Racing Post website: https://beta.racingpost.com/racecards/runners-index

Looks like they haven't updated with today's runners.

Kind Regards,

Steve.

Rob has pointed out that non-runners are giving a #VALUE error in the Decimal Odds column . This updated version should solve that.

Regards,

Steve.

Hi,

After just now running a Windows Office update, I am getting:

'Run time error 1004' message box

'Unable to get the Match property of the WorksheetFunction class'

Is this just me or is it all users of this facility? :(

Mine was working ok this AM Rob but I have noticed that I often have to close other workbooks to get it going or it crashes.

I found a few suggested solutions when I googled "Run time error Unable to get the Match property of the WorksheetFunction class" which mostly seemed to indicate that this would happen if your function or macro doesn't get a match in the Excel Match() function. It looks like the solution is to use Application.Match function instead of WorksheetFunction.Match, and to wrap it with the isError function:

My coding skills are pretty minimal, so I will just have to wait until others with more technical knowledge update Windows Office (assuming they encounter the same Error message).

OK guys. Try the attached. It works for me. I've also amended the code so that it might not interfere with other open workbooks. But it might need further attention to prevent that.
