Slow and unresponsive when Excel worksheet attached.

For me, this program has become unusable when an Excel sheet is attached. Both Cymatic and Excel Freeze momentarily and become unresponsive, The clock in Cymatic skips seconds, the polling/streaming feels like it's updating every 3 seconds. What can be done to fix? Is this software still maintained?

When configured correctly, there should not be a problem with anything being slow.
A possible causes of this could be an inefficient loop in your Visual Basic coding (if you have programmed a bot in Excel).
Usually the software is able to self-regulate when there are too many odds refreshes arriving from the exchange, but you can adjust these settings manually to make sure that your PC isn't overwhelmed by an excessive market refresh rate in a crazy busy market. Your processing power, wifi speed, and internet connection all have limits that can affect things. To adjust the refresh rates manually for either polling or streaming (the conflation settings) go to the main Cymatic window menu: Settings then make changes on the API Refresh tab.
