Hi Gavin,

I'm forced to stop trading for now here in portugal, but in december it will be all alright again.
But id like to know if there is any prediction from your part for a osx version of cymatic, and when?

Best regards

Hi Rui,

Yes it is a pity that trading has been suspended in Portugal, I hope it resumes as quickly as possible.

I'm not planning an OS X version at the moment. However, several users are successfully running the Cymatic software in Wine on their OS X MAC computers. There is a section in the forum where users explain how to do the installation. I hope that helps you. Some of this refers to linux, but it might also apply to OS X

There are other options too such as Parallels, I know some users are getting on OK with that.

Kind regards,

Gavin

Parrallels are like virtual computers correct? I think it costs a ton to purchase it. Can you recommend another one by any chance?

Hi kittrad,

How about using Boot Camp or Wine.

See the options for using a MAC, here in the FAQ:

Using on a MacBook

Postby oddsonjolly » Mon Aug 24, 2015 12:18 pm

Hi everyone

I have downloaded the software, but wish to know the best option for installing on my MacBook. I only have Windows office installed, so what else will I need? Windows 8 or 8.1 or XP. Will I need to buy this to install? I have looked at WINE but it looks rather risky to use without putting my computer at risk of viruses.

Thanks very much.

Hi oddsonjolly,

Here are four options for using a Mac with Cymatic:

http://www.cymatic.co.uk/FAQ.aspx#mac

I think some users are getting on well with the Parallels option.

There is a conversation on the Cymatic forum for Wine users, search for Wine with the search box to find it. The Wine discussion started about Linux, but I expect most of the help provided there may also apply to Macs.

Kind regards,

Gavin
