I have spreadsheet set up to do simultaneous back and lay when the back odd are greater than the lay odds
The back command works - =IF(BL8="","",IF(I8>J8,"back","\\")) filling in all the expected places I have run this down to row 15
The lay commend =IF(BL8="","",IF(I8>J8,"lay","\\")) which I have placed in rows 17 to 24will only fill the stake column – it does not enter placed in that column nor does it enter data into the rest
So the situation is that if the back command is issued the lay command does not operate and fill in details in the status etc columns
Any ideas

Hi wbabc,

I suspect that I8 > J8 is never possible, because it would be matched in the exchange.
