Hi, can anyone help on this, please? As a non-expert, the problem looks quite simple to me, yet ChatGTP made a complete pig's ear of it, and another expert couldn't get the equations right either.
I have attached the excel spreadsheet in so far as I have been able to take it, and it shows clearly where the problems are. The parameters of the system are:
1). Dutch all horses up to (but not including) 20 odds.
2). So far, this has resulted in anything from 2 to 10 horses per dutch.
3). To ensure that we include all the horses up to 20 odds (cell BC3), you can see that I have allowed for fields up to 32 (cells I8:I40), which gives way more than enough cover.
4). The stake size (cell BC2) is in Bold Red because that is the only cell that will need constant amendment.
5). The equation of the inverse odds (BC4) is wrong.
6). The equation for the gross profit (BE2) is also wrong. I need the gross profit because that tells me whether the race is worth a bet or not.
Obviously, if you need any more information, please just tell me. If you are interested, could you let me know the fee please?
