Thanks for your message. It's good to hear from you and thank for the nice compliment about Cymatic still being your favourite software of all.
There will continue to be occasional updates of Cymatic, whenever a change is needed and it will continue to be supported into the future. As it happens, there will be a new version released very soon, albeit just a small change to support the new login address for users in Australia and New Zealand.
I'm sorry to say that lifetime licenses are still not within my business model. The subscription fee is already so low and has never been increased since it was introduced more than a decade ago, that I feel that lifetime licenses might just further erode the chances of receiving enough long term revenue. Without subscription income, there would be a danger of it not being possible to adequately support the software in the future. From time to time, programming changes have to made to keep the software alive, for example when new operating systems change something, or when Betfair makes breaking changes.
I might be making the wrong decision, but it just feels like the right one to me.
