XG TRADING

Hi Gavin
Do you have any plans to introduce XG (Expected Goals) into the graphs or even at the side of each teams name?
A new trading system is now in place, if you visit Flashscore they cover all the major leagues in play and update the action by the min or when an attacking team is firing shoots etc then they adjust the XG for that team

Lets say ManU are playing ManC and ManC are destroying ManU on expected goals XG
ManU 0.21 XG  v ManC 0.98 XG the probability is ManC will score the first goal and better yet it is the start of the second half and still 0v0 the odds on betfair Over 0.5 goals are say 1.25 dec, the confidence is there, there should be a goal in that game for ManC (does not always work this way) Manu might grab the goal in the 98th min HAHA well if they were under Fergi they would GRRR
But ManC WILL want the win and the XG is telling us they are pushing for the win, Manu will have some breakaways seeing ManC have all their attackers and midfielders in the ManU half so a surprise goal from ManU could happen and it does in MANY games, so backing ManC with the highest XG is not a confident bet that they will win, But the XG is telling us there is a goal in that game (if you get what i mean) so under/overs is the safe bet (if there is such a thing) haha

Plus if it is something You are thinking about? how about only showing leagues that have XG stats (There own Tab) of all the XG games for the day, this way the New type of trader does not have to sort through non XG games plus having to bring up charts from Flashscore etc (wasting time) because the XG is in front of our faces on your bot, making trading FASTER

Gavin, You would be the first and it could be worth thinking about (Everyone likes to be the First)

Many Thanks
Mike and Gemma

Hi Mike and Gemma,

Thanks for your very interesting question.

Unfortunately I don't think current plans and workload would realistically permit the integration of xG into the app in the foreseeable future. However, perhaps you might be able to figure out a way to independently display xG within Excel, if there is a way to get that data. Then the possibilities for making a trading system that is guided by xG would start to present themselves, if you are also using Cymatic's Excel Integration capability to send triggered bets.

Kind regards,

Gavin
