Hi Gavin,
Happy Easter mate.

I noticed large differences in runner prices (for Australian markets) between the ACT odds and those shown on the Betfair exchange site for races today. I've never actually benchmarked the ACT prices with the exchange as I always assumed they were the same.

No doubt I have a setting problem or I've inadvertently ticked the wrong box somewhere.
For Example Race 1 at Hamilton (11:51am) has Dream Over at 6.6/23 on the Exchange while its listed as 8.6/9 on ACT. This is a substantial difference.

Can you shed some light on this for me?

Hi Simon,

Thanks and I hope you had a good Easter too.

It sounds like you might have the 'Virtual Prices' setting turned off. This means you won't see the tighter prices available via the exchange's cross-matching algorithm.

You can turn it back on via the menu in the main Cymatic window. Settings menu | API Refresh tab | Virtual Prices.
