The autopilot does not to work

Postby Jamesuesername » Tue Sep 01, 2020 12:58 pm

I've had this problem for a while. When loading the greyhounds into the autopilot, when the event is over the trigger will skip over 1 sometimes 2 markets.

I have the the trigger set to scheduled start time.
Skip markets set to 0.

It will skip a market if it has already reached its scheduled start time, or it has been abandoned/closed. Could either of those reasons explain it?

Kind regards,

Gavin

Thats not what im experiencing.

market 1: 12:30:00
market 2: 12:33:00
market 3: 12:37:00

When market 1 comes to an end, the pilot will skip market 2 and jump to 3. Ill have disable autopilot and manually go back to market 2.

OK, that is strange. Assuming you have definitely chosen the 'scheduled start time' as the autopilot trigger, then I don't have any other explanations. Of course, if you chose the 'end of in-play' trigger, then it would skip market 2 sometimes (if market 1 doesn't end until after 12:33).

With the 'scheduled start time' trigger, it should leave market 1 at precisely 12:30, then move to market 2 and stay on market 2 until 12:33 precisely. Unless market 2 has closed early.

When you manually went back to market 2, was it temporarily suspended?

Kind regards,

Gavin

No, the market was normal. Once the pattern has started it will always repeat itself, whatever the status of the market. The only fix I've found is disabling the autopilot, reloading the markets and enabling autopilot, but it can be frustrating if you leave some automation on, only to find markets have been skipped throughout the day. Ive only experienced this with the greyhounds.

OK. How frequently do days occur with this problem? Are you using the autopilot every day for greyhounds?

The autopilot does not work for me when I choose greyhounds and ask it to populate. It always comes up with no results effectively. I believe it as Betfair has GB and IRE as one category for Greyhounds and two for Horse Racing (GB and IRE separetely) and where on the autopilot population I choose what countries, I only have options for GB and IRE separate?

Good afternoon,

I just tested it with the default autopilot settings and it works fine. The autopilot was populated for GB and IRE greyhound races.

Are you still having a problem?

Kind regards,

Gavin
