Live races and Live video streaming

Live races
Hi Gavin and forum partners
I am new with Cymatic and I am learning and implementing two live racing strategy but I have several doubts I will explain it and then I ask the questions I clarify that I only operate in races of the United Kingdom with stakes of 4 dollars and a bankroll of 50 to 100 dollars:

Strategy 1: detect a horse with good performance (not the favorite horse) back (or several back) when its quota is high and then lay (the number of lay equal to the backs made) in low quota creating an important inclination and then take benefits before the fee starts to rise (if the horse wins perfect)

Strategy 2: detect a horse with a possible good performance and lay (or several lay) when the quota is high then at the time the quota falls back, (the number of backs equal to the Lay made) create a good imbalance and take benefits:

Questions:
1) Because I must place a bet to watch the live broadcast What movements do I have to enable the broadcast and keep the bankroll about 12 hours before the race? I have tried what he explains in the following video but there are always small losses: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZLmRZTkt6I.

2) What type of stake favors these strategies? The software has several options and I'm not sure which one is better.

3) What is the best way to collect and maximize benefits in Cymatic? I see three options by clicking on the column: Green to, Green stake or net to.
I offer my apologies if the questions are obvious but I am in the process of learning.
Thank you.

Hi Vanusekal,

I can't comment on your strategy, but I can explain a bit about the different columns in the grid.

Clicking either the 'Green stake' and 'Green To' columns do exactly the same thing, they green up the position on that selection. the only difference between those two columns is that they shown different information. One shows the profit, the other shows the stake that would be sent to green up. After greening up, your profit (or loss) is spread over all selections equally regardless of which selection wins.

Clicking the net stake column simply sends a bet to equalise the stakes matched on both sides of the market, so that you total matched back stakes and total matched lay bets become the same. Having equal stakes, keeps all your profit (or loss) on that one selection, rather than spreading it out over all the selections. So you only realise your profit (or loss) if that selection wins the race.

Kind regards,

Gavin

Hi Gavin
I appreciate your timely and assertive response, you can also explain the following:
1) Stake Types, I read the user guide but I cannot understand the advantages of the different Cymatic Stake Types.

2) Is it possible to configure or view a racing timer showing progress?

3) I have a problem with viewing the race live from Cymatic, I log in perfectly and when I click to open a pop-up window to resize the view the window appears in black and does not load the video, (attached screenshot), I use windows 10 64 bit latest update and Microsoft Edge 44.18362.387.0 (totally clean without extensions) and antivirus windows defender
Thank you.

Hi Vanusekal,

1. Just use the stake type 'Stake', that is the standard type that most people expect and is OK to use for trading or plain betting. Or, just choose liability if you want your possible loss to be the same on every single bet. The other types are for various specialist uses.

2. Their is a clock at the top of the grid and ladder, which show the length of time that a race has been in-play. Before the race starts, it is a countdown clock.

3. Maybe, your browser security settings are set too high, try going onto medium or low security settings. Maybe your browser is blocking something like pop-ups or cookies. Looking at the title/ address at the top of the big black image, it contains the words 'allowPopup=false', so I think your browser is probably blocking popups and you should be able to change that setting in the browser.

Kind regards,

Gavin

Hello Gavin

2) I talk about seeing a career timer progress bar during the live race or another tool that works to watch the progress of these types of races.
I enclose an image, my English is not very good and I am not sure if I am making myself understood.
Thanks for your support.

Hi Vanusekal,

Thanks for sending the picture of the suggested feature. I understand now. That sort of feature is currently not available in Cymatic, but I have seen it before and I agree that it would be a nice feature to add.

Kind regards,

Gavin

Hi, I would like to know if any features similar to this already exist in the software?

Hi leolino,

This feature is not in the software, however you could probably make it in Excel. I found these instructions for making a horizontal bar chart in Excel, which uses conditional formatting. I haven't tested how efficient that would be, or whether there are better ways of composing it in Excel.

Kind regards,

Gavin
