The Betfair exchange has been experiencing a major outage this afternoon, as acknowledged by them on twitter and here in there service status page:

Problems persist at Betfair today.

You won't see any markets in the software after you login.

There is a workaround which is to select markets using the Filter tab or the Autopilot. However as a result of the problems at Betfair, there may be less liquidity on the markets so please keep that in mind if you decide to trade today.

Betfair have informed me that they are now back online. I have tested it and the markets are now loading normally in the software.

If you already have the software open, please simply logout and log back in again to display the list of markets in the Navigator tab.

Noticed also a few bets returning a TIMEOUT error. Any idea if they were related?

Yes I think the timeout errors were probably related. There seemed to be a number of parts of the exchange that were affected over the weekend.
