Hi

Im new to horse race trading and Cymatic, is the software good to go out of the box for pre race scalping etc or do i need to set it up a certain way to get the best from it.

Yes the ladder interface is ideal for that sort of trading. However, if you want to further customize the look of the ladder you can do so as described here:
