HorseFrontRunner Spreadsheet

Postby canuk » Fri Jul 17, 2015 7:54 pm

Background:
I stated by working on a modified LayTheField sheet uploaded by Gavin, and got diverted to this sheet, when I was finding that most races have only one horse, in the odds range (less than 2) at the same time near the end of the race. So far only used manually, so not tried auto pilot yet. As this similar to LayTheField, by nature, NO greening is attempted in this spreadsheet.

There are greater details on the INFO sheet
Like most projects this is a never ending task of alterations.
Anyway it is here to PLAY with in TRAINING MODE, and feedback is welcome

Files and some sample screen clips available here

Like a good fisherman I only show the big fish LOL

when I tested it made me confusion the amount of bets the excel made looooooooool so what I did was change the Place BACK if odds < 2 to 1,25 e o BACK Price the same 1,1 It seemed to Me this way is much safer :D

and good work

Ofcourse it could happen. Betfair gives you the best available price at that moment when u fire a Backbet of 1,1!

Yes, correct. Furthermore, price improvements are simulated in training mode, so they definitely do occur. Its normal as Sjaak says.
Kind regards,

Hi All and thanks comments and support.
This is still a work in progress, especially around GREEN ALL function button, not always being settled.
I have tried with as many as three tries inside the macro, with one second waits, but at the end of the race, outcome is uncertain.
Any help and advice on the code I use could be helpful. I am very new to VBA and mostly rely on Macros.

Anyway .... I made R2 available at the same location as R1 with a few screen clips of me testing.

The INFO sheet has all the information that I think might be helpful.

My basic assumption is that the user is familiar with and capable of EXCEL manipulate.
The basic platform that Gavin has generously given us, is intended for growth, and unlimited development.
This is shared here to foster that community of sharing and development.

Have Fun Playing
