v.3.3 - Migrated to the new Betfair API

Postby Gavin » Tue Sep 30, 2014 11:45 pm

New version 3.3.0.0 released 30th September 2014

- All features completely migrated to API-NG (Betfair's new API format)
- Should now work for users in countries such as Denmark, who required special logon procedures to meet jurisdictional requirements
- Highlights location of unmatched orders on the grid. User can switch highlighting on / off in settings.
- Autopilot markets are now displayed in a separate tab and are chosen / filtered by clicking a button and choosing criteria from a pop-up form.
- Virtual prices are displayed. There is an option to switch them off in settings.
- Further improvement to formatting of title in ladders, charts and advanced charts
- Prices, completed price depth, orders and traded volumes are now all refreshed in one API call (ListMarketBook), rather than 4 calls
- User is prevented from choosing settings that would call ListMarketBook more often than 5 times per second per market (Betfair rules for API-NG)
- Fixed a bug causing occasional error 'index out of range' when closing the app
- Ensured that it doesn't appear that we can green up (with a lay bet)when there is actually no money available to lay
- Fixed bug in robots in ladders, so now it always cancels correctly when both bets are unmatched and liquidity falls below our threshold
- Added more meaningful text to the confirmation request that pops up when user tries to close the program
- Ensured that colour of certain columns on grid remain ivory and don’t move to white
- Fixed tooltip for 'At In-Play' showing russian instead of English
- Added tootip for button that chooses autopilot markets

Kind regards,
Gavin

Hi Derek,

Thanks for your message.

The Cymatic software uses Internet Explorer as the engine to open the Betfair login page. Please ensure that you have allowed cookies in Internet Explorer. Please let me know if that helps.

Kind regards,

Hi Derek,

Actually I now think that you should really be able to see the web page even if cookies were disabled.

Perhaps the login page is being blocked by your anti-virus software due to its settings being too cautious? You may need to adjust the settings in that product.

This is what the login page should look like inside a window that pops up when you open Cymatic software (don't login using the link below, but please just see if you can open it in a browser and you should the see the yellow login page):

I'll cease posting here in the forum, because this is not the correct forum section for support, but I have responded to your email message.

Thanks,
Gavin
