v6.26.0.5 improves advanced charts and search filter

Postby Gavin » Sun Jan 10, 2021 12:17 am

Version 6.26.0.5 was released today which includes the following changes:

  • Advanced Charts: fixed problem causing the vertical axis to sometimes fail to resize automatically when the price moved beyond the current displayed range.
  • Advanced Charts: added a button to activate manual vertical zooming with the mouse.
  • Advanced Charts: the zoom-reset button on the toolstrip now also resets the vertical zoom too. Previously it only reset the horizontal zoom.
  • Advanced Charts: added Portuguese and Russian translations to the tooltips for the chart buttons that enable dragging the mouse to select chart areas to zoom in upon.
  • Search/Filter Events window: improved format so that the data grid resizes properly and the button stay in view when the form resizes.
  • On the login options window: the 'Minimal Login' option (produces a simple API login window) is now selected as default for new users, instead of the 'Standard Login' (produces an emulated web browser login window). Minimal login avoids browser compatibility and cookie related issues that might have been more complicated for some users during onboarding. Both options are still available as before and your preferred option continues to be saved.

Important - Please note: Cymatic's digital code signing certificate has been renewed today (they expire every few years). This means that when users are installing or updating the software, some users might see warnings such as 'this app is not commonly downloaded' or other scary looking messages. This is not a virus so please don't worry. It just means that our new certificate isn't well known yet by some security software (such as Windows Defender SmartScreen Filter), until enough users have downloaded our latest Cymatic software (v6.26.0.5) signed with the new certificate. I believe that the good reputation is being quickly proven and warnings may have already been avoided now in most cases, but if you do see the warning please don't worry.
