Loving the new silks

Postby pnr8uk » Mon Jun 01, 2020 11:18 am

Hi Gavin

Loving the new silks graphics, makes it very easy to identify.

Also loving the pop out live stream video.

Good luck all who are resuming trading today.

Having said that the name is covering the jockeys hat.

Beautiful for the silks but need the hat to show too really.

Many thanks

Yes, the silks are very nice 8-) Just need to shift the names a fraction to the right so we can see the caps :)

Good evening,

Thanks for the feedback. The silks is just an image that the software downloads from Betfair, so I can't change the image to make the hat bigger. The name doesn't seem to cover the hat on my PC, they look like in the picture below (showing the website and the software side-by-side). Do they not look like that to you? Which country were you looking at?

Oh! Betfair must have changed the images temporarily, then changed them back again.

Now that I know you prefer them to look bigger, I have begun trying to zoom them in Cymatic to make them look bigger, so if I am successful then it will be included in the next version of Cymatic.

Kind regards,

Gavin

Morning Gavin

As the previous poster said they have gone back to normal now. They were superb yesterday.

I was trading UK races and US in the evening and they were big right up until around 9pm.

Many thanks

Hi Guys,

So here is a picture of what I could make the silks look like (scroll down on the image to see the second grid). The top grid show what you'd probably see as default, with large silks and row height of 36 pixels. The bottom grid shows what it would look like if the user also increased the row height further to make more space for an even bigger silks image (File | Settings | Layouts | Row Height).

Do they look good? If so, I'll make this change in the next version of Cymatic.

Kind regards,

Gavin

Wow that is how they looked on Monday but now we can see the hats too :)

I love this, hopefully other users will like this too.

Many thanks

Yes, that will likely be a decent plus, Gav. Although they'll unfortunately become a little blurred because of the zoom? :| The way it was yesterday they weren't zoomed, they were just bigger, and that made them crystal clear, very detailed. They looked gorgeous. Hopefully bf plan on making that perma change, and your zoom idea could be temp improvement until they do.
