Yes, you could log that by using the Excel integration feature of Cymatic. The last traded price is presented for each selection in column P in the spreadsheet.
If the LTP gets blanked after the market closes, then you could ensure that it is stored by writing a macro to copy the LTP to a spare column, every time the prices change, unless the new value is empty.
Thank you very much for the info. I've been trying to figure out a way to capture the LTP data via the standard Betfair interface but this is perfect. Will look into getting the macro created to save the TLP info.
Gavin, does Cymatic allow historical data to be retrieved? Have been playing with the Betfair Historical downloads but since they changed to the new method I am finding it incredibly difficult to work with.
I want to capture the LTP & volume data from a full greyhound meeting for each runner whereby Cymatic auto loads each race of the meeting chronologically and the macro is programmed to store relevant data within the workbook. From what I read about autopilot this would do the trick but notice it currently only works for Horseracing. Is there a way to do this in the greyhound markets?
Actually, the autopilot works for either greyhounds or horse racing, so it will do what you need. There is a selection box at the top of the autopilot settings window that allows you to choose which one you want (the auto-ticks markets wizard found by clicking the button in the Tool panel, beside the check box that turns the autopilot on or off).
Thanks Gavin, thats great I will give it a try. However, after logging in to the app today the connect to excel buttons are "greyed out" meaning I cannot connect. Any idea what could be causing this?
The 'connect to Excel button' will be greyed out when you open Cymatic, until you have opened a market in the main window. After you open a market to see the selections and prices, then the button to connect to Excel will become available.
I now have an excel template set up and am collecting LTP and Traded Volume. (see attached) First tried collecting data using autopilot but it moves to the next listed race at exactly race time meaning the data is only a snapshot instead of LTP and Traded Volume at the actual off time. So am currently just manually loading the next race which seems to save the latest data but at the finish of the race the Traded Volume disappears. Can you suggest any fixes for these issues? Many thanks
Frank
