Extracting all horse racing data to Excel

Postby rich » Sat Oct 13, 2018 11:48 am

HI all,

Is it possible to extract all the data for all the UK and IRE horse meeting each day and to see data such as what has been matched on a race and what has been matched on a horse ?

Looking further down the line could excel and cymatic be so smart to act as a robot & to place a bet based if the odds are dropping and a horse having x amount matched on it ?

Hi Rich,

Thank for your query.

Yes it is possible, but not via a fully automatic method.

You could add all those races to the autopilot, then open the first race and connect it to Excel. That would need to be a special Excel sheet that you create to record the price volume data for each horse. The manually click the button on the autopilot to switch to the next market, etc. Your spreadsheet could either be programmed to log the data from each race automatically or have a button that you click to do so.

I am currently consider adding a command in Excel that would tell the autopilot to advance to the next race instantly rather than waiting for the start (or end) of the race. Once that has been added then you would theoretically be able to completely automate the whole process that you described. In the meantime, the closest you can achieve would involve press the existing autopilot button to advanced to each race (the button with the blue right arrow on it).

Yes, that is possible using Cymatic's integration with Excel. You'd put all your trigger conditions in Excel and Cymatic would be able read them. There is a user manual section on learning to use Cymatic commands in Excel and various sample spreadsheets in the forum to help demonstrate the principles.

Happy trading and kind regards,
