Hi Gavin,

There's just a minor bug left in the new version, as far as I can see. When a bet is matched the sound doesn't always occur.

I thought it might be due to the sheer 200ms default speed of streaming but when I reduced the speed I it wasn't fixed.

I have been trying to reproduce it but so far the sound always plays properly in my tests (both demo and live mode).

I haven't given up trying to reproduce it, but if you notice any pattern that might help me to reproduce it then please let me know.

Hi Derek,

Try increasing the 'Conflation' setting from 0ms to 200ms (or even 500ms if necessary), that might help.

The setting is found going to the menu in the main Cymatic window:

File menu | Settings | API Refresh tab
Then you'll see the conflation setting in the top left corner.

Thanks for your advice. I've traded five markets with a conflation setting of 200ms and the problem has not reoccurred, so hopefully the problem's resolved.

Would you mind briefly explaining what the conflation setting does ?

Sorry Gavin, I spoke too soon. The problem has just reoccurred on the 23:14 at Turf Paradise (USA) a couple of times. I've tried 200ms and 500ms.

OK thanks for the extra information.

I will continue to search for a possible cause, but so far I have not found anything. If you ever happen to notice a pattern to what might cause it to happen then please let me know and it will speed up my ability to track down the cause, thanks.

I have now discovered the cause of this problem and am working to fix it. The next version of the software will prevent it from ever occurring again. I will release a new version with the fix very soon.

The problem has now been fixed in the new version 6.0.8.0 which has now been released. Other fixes are also included in the new release, please see the link below for the full release notes:

The software automatically updates itself when it is opened.
