timer to quit

Ideas for new features. All suggestions are very welcome, thank you.

timer to quit

Postby callmeant » Tue Oct 31, 2017 2:45 pm

Hi Gavin,

A timer to get out of a matched bet would be handy every now then again regardless of the actual state of the bet
( plus or minus ).
When the bet gets matched the timer is activated - say 30 seconds - and after that period the software leaves the game at
the best price possible.
I would mostly use it at horse racing...

Thank you!

Kind regards

Hi callmeant,

Thanks for your message, it is an interesting idea.

Actually I think that the suggested feature is something that could be created via the Excel integration feature. So if you have Excel you could consider created the feature in Excel linked to Cymatic, or try asking in the Find A Developer section of the forum.

I might consider offering a service to provide customized features in Excel, which is something that I might have more time for in the near future. I have been rather bogged down for the last few months whilst working towards releasing an upgrade to Cymatic that will take advantage of Betfair's new streaming API.

Kind regards,

Gavin

Hi Gavin,

thank you for your answer.

When it comes to Excel I must admit I am not good at it.

But considering it as a challenge I might give it a try.

Have a nice day.

Hi callmeant,

OK, thanks for your message and I hope you get on OK if you decide to give Excel a try. You could always try asking for help in the Excel section of the forum if you get really stuck.

In the meantime, happy trading,

Gavin
