(Please see the second message in this topic, which updates this topic - there should not be any problems with McAfee now)
I recently heard reports from a couple of users that McAfee anti-virus software can cause problems when installing Cymatic.
I suggest getting rid of McAfee, then using Windows Defender instead which protects against viruses, comes free with recent versions of Windows and doesn’t make the same mistakes the McAfee does, so it works with Cymatic.
However if you decide to keep using McAfee then you could tell the McAfee settings to allow Cymatic. This is done in the Exceptions settings in McAfee, which can be found by following the instructions here:
http://smallbusiness.chron.com/add-exceptions-mcafee-69566.html
If the McAfee exceptions settings require you to tell it the Cymatic program filename, then you should put the filename CyTraderBF.exe
No exceptions are necessary if you use Windows Defender, it just works.
Kind regards,
Gavin
