Migration of AU and NZ markets

Postby Gavin » Sat Sep 10, 2016 3:30 pm

Betfair are planning to retire the separate Australian exchange on 20th September 2016 and migrate all AU and NZ markets to the main Main/UK exchange. Funds held in AUS wallets, will be transferred to the Main/UK wallets. So thereafter, all markets will be operated on the same exchange and there will be just one wallet for all markets, regardless of the country.

Kind regards,

Gavin

If you have open positions on these markets:

1. Any unmatched bets will lapse – if you have open unfilled positions, they will need to be recreated
2. The above will all be assigned new market IDs, but the competition / event hierarchy will remain the same (we will publish a map from old->new on the migration day, scheduled for Tuesday the 20th, once they have been created)
3. All matched bets will have new bet ids / matched bet ids
4. The position stream will be flushed so that this accurately reflects the historic bets / aggregate position on Tuesday. LBR response will be immediately accurate.
5. Partially settled bets will remain where they are today, that is in the Aus exchange, where they will remain accessible through current means for the standard period of time settled bets remain retrievable.
6. Betfair points will function as they do today
